The Mennym family face a crisis when their home is threatened by motorway development and they must move to the country. 

The continuing adventures of the Mennyms, a family of life-size rag dolls pretending to be human, as they try to cope with a series of ardent admirers whose attentions threaten to pierce the family's veil of secrecy.

The Mennyms, a family of life-sized rag dolls, wake up to find their household has been moved and they are now under the care of an eccentric but loving old antiques dealer who soon suspects their secret.
