Lincoln Rhyme

After a devastating accident, forensic criminalist Lincoln Rhymes is left as a quadraplegic. But the NYPD still turn to him to help them solve a series of gruesome murders. Criminalist Lincoln Rhyme is in North Carolina preparing to have experimental spinal surgery that could give him back a little movement. Before the operation takes place he and Amelia Sachs are asked to use their skills to trace two women who have been kidnapped by a psychotic young man known as the Insect Boy.

Over the next forty-eight hours the Ghost ruthlessly hunts for the families while Rhyme struggles desperately to find them first. Meanwhile, Sachs pursues a very different kind of policework - forming a connection with one of the immigrants that may have far reaching consequences for her relationship with her partner and lover, Lincoln Rhyme.
