Ruth Ann Phimister

Roseta, Pennsylvania, is populated by a group of Italians who emigrated en masse from a village near Bari in the late 1800s. The residents re-created their former lives in their new country. Farmer's daughter, Nella, aspires to a genteel town life, until she meets the poet renato Lanzara.
