Alfred Duggan

Camul and Acco, Gauls of the Pyrenees, leave home to join the Roman army in the time of Julius Caesar. After a series of adventures en route they continue on with the doomed army into what is now Iraq, where they encounter Parthian horse-bowmen under their leader Surenas.
