Pat McIntosh

When Gilbert Cunningham, a notary-in-training, finds the body of a young woman in the new cathedral in Glasgow, he is asked to investigate. He identifies the corpse as the wife of nobleman John Semphill. A second murder complicates matters and Gil travels to the Isle of Bute with a master mason from the cathedral, to unravel the mystery.
