Nicola Thorne

In 1924 Peg Hallam moves to London from Dorset to make a career as a journalist in Fleet Street. She shares a flat with her eldest sister, Verity, who wants to protect Peg from the temptations of the big city, but Peg is desperate to experience everything London has to offer.
