Aminatta Forna

Mohamed Forna was one of the first black students to come to Britain after the war. A dissident he became a rising star in the fledgling democracy of Sierra Leone. As corruption grew he found himself in jail as a prisoner of conscience, and worse followed. His daughter returned to Africa to determine her father's fate.
