Patrick Moore

Patrick Moore first became interested in astronomy as a schoolboy, and is still just as keen. For over 45 years he presented the BBC's programme 'The Sky At Night', where his personality and enthusiasm made him a household name. At 80 years of age he is still working to raise the profile of science and astronomy among the British public.
