Agnes Desarthe

Max and Telma Opass had a long and happy marriage so after her death Max decides to commission a portrait of her. As he talks to different artists he realises that he actually knew very little about his wife.

Shortly after Sonia and her husband move into their new flat she realises that it t is not the haven of peace she hopes for. Her disgust over bullying, racism and poverty make her realise that the cruelty of the world cannot be covered up with good intentions.
