In December 1815 Adam Bolitho is ordered to sail his frigate to Sierra leone to join other ships in anti-slavery patrols. Britain's attempts to halt the flourishing trade in human life are hampered by old enemies and the threat of war.  Book 27 of series.

In March 1814 Admiral Sir Richard Bolitho returns to England where news of Napoleon's defeat and abdication shocks the navy and nation. Bolitho is sent to Malta, an area where he has already seen glory and tragedy.  Book 25 of series.
