Winifred Ferrier

During her lifetime Kathleen Ferrier both as a person and a musicain evoked world wide admiration and affection These feelings persist: many people wanted to know more about her life and work. Her sister Winifred who encouraged her in the early years in Lancashire and was her constant companion in the hard working years of her triumph has written her life story.
