One night at university, a group of friends make a series of predictions about each of their futures. Twenty years later, as promised, they meet up to open the predictions and see if anyone guessed correctly about what lay ahead for each of them.

One of the group is now a rising star in politics, another a journalist, a third one of the youngest partners in a major law firm. But another, a brilliant young doctor, isn't there that weekend - lost to suicide just a few months before. If it was suicide...

As their predictions are finally revealed, so too are long buried secrets that will shatter the lives of those involved. Not everyone at the house this weekend is who they appear to be. And not everyone at the house wants the truth to come out. They promised - but who can actually be trusted?
