Quicksilver

Merchant Jacques Coeur, is a man of humble beginnings but fiercely ambitious. He rises to be one of the richest and most powerful men in fifteenth century France when he becomes trusted confidante of the Anjou royal family, particularly of his beloved patroness Yolande, Queen of the Four Kingdoms. But in devastating fashion Jacques's ambition and generosity become his downfall.
