Falcon and the Dove

Tom Holt, born the son of a gardener, is growing up against the backdrop of the rapidly-changing world of the twentieth century. A chance encounter on his 10th birthday changes the course of his life and we see his coming-of-age, his doomed romance and his strength in the face of adversity.
