Sacrifice

On the remote Shetland islands a woman’s mutilated body is found. Tora Hamilton, consultant obstetrician, uses her position at the local hospital to access information and discovers a pattern of missing women and links to ancient legends. Dark secrets are being guarded and Tora finds herself isolated from those she trusts.
