Margaret Tudor, daughter of Henry VII is forced to marry James IV of Scotland as part of a peace treaty. Unexpectedly she falls in love with James, but neither the marriage or the peace last. When her husband is killed in battle, Margaret knows, once again, that her destiny is not in her own hands.
