Love and War

Eileen and Ronald Wells live a happy settled life with their three daughters in Rotherhithe. As war looms, one girl joins the Air Force, another the Land Army whilst the youngest starts war work in a factory. With her family scattered, Eileen throws herself into the community, always on hand to help friends and neighbours.
