Sally Goodchild, a 37year old American journalist met Tony Hobbs, an English foreign correspondent in Cairo. They married and Sally, now pregnant, moved to London, where her relationship with her husband and her new country was an uneasy one. Soon her problems turned into a nightmare she thought she couldn't win.
