Never Surrender

On Friday 10th May, 1940, Hitler launched a devastating attack on France, Holland and Belgium. On the same day Winston Churchill became Prime Minister. Though still mistrusted by most of the Cabinet, Churchill, and ordinary Britons, displayed courage and defiance as the country was nearly brought to its knees over the next thee weeks.
