Painting The Darkness

The arrival of a stranger at his home in St Johns Wood in 1882 spells destruction for William Trenchard and his marriage. The stranger is James Norton, who claims to be the man William's wife Constance was once engaged to, and who was reported to have committed suicide eleven years ago.
